Welcome

Hello and welcome to the new and (hopefully) improved Anchored in Amazing Grace! My goal here at AIAG is to encourage others in Christian fellowship in various outlets through my interests and experiences. This blog is for college students, artists, “spoonies,” and those who are simply just trying to navigate through this crazy thing called life!

The name “Anchored in Amazing Grace” pretty much describes my long and rocky journey/personal testimony of faith with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Ever since I was young, I have always been drawn to all things nautical and metaphors that have to do with water, so I found that an anchor in the turbulent sea was the perfect way to describe how God keeps me grounded in m life- thus giving life to the idea of my mantra and later this blog- Anchored in Amazing Grace.

With the occasional lifestyle and DIY post thrown in, the purpose of this blog is not to be super fashion blogger-y or anything like that (though I may have some fun posts like that from time to time- check out my look-book page if you’re into that type of content). I’m keeping it real with y’all and I’m not afraid to admit that I am a mess and I am broken. I need Jesus, a lot. I’m sharing my brokenness out here for y’all to see. I’m right here for you, so I hope you’ll stick around. Have a cup of coffee or tea (whichever you prefer), cozy up on your couch, and let’s be friends!
